After a month of disappearance, I'm back. In case you were wondering where did I disappeared to, I was busy rushing assignments and burying my nose in books and notes for my finals. In between these two, I had a bad case of stomach flu which gave me non-stop vomiting and jabs at the hospital. Anyway, I can now happily (unofficially) say goodbye to my university life. Yes, I've completed my degree, awaiting for graduation next August (probably).
It's like a conflict of emotions deep inside me. The excitement of entering the workforce, finally able to pursue my interest. Yet, the other part of me is unsure of the path ahead, unsure of the decision that are going to be made. This is where I tell myself  to constantly embrace changes, stop feeding the fears. Positivity has definitely help me found my inner peace and the path to happiness in life :)
On a happier note, I celebrated the end of my examination at Sentosa, participating in the Zombie Race 2013! Before the race, I was having my last paper in the morning and had only 4 hours of sleep the night before. Surprisingly, my legs could still carried me pass the zombies, obstacles and finish line. It was definitely a fun race! Now, I having thoughts of participating in 'Run For Your Lives Asia' next January. Today marks the 1st day of my holiday and I've done Halloween Skeleton Face make up tutorial and some products reviews to make up for the lack of posts, so stick around :)

Assignments due dates and mid-term test are round the corner, I can hardly update my blog. Except for short and summarized one like this. 
I had my fair share of enjoyment during the long weekend holiday from NDP week by spending a night at Turi Beach Resort at Batam. The place was exceptionally beautiful when the sun is till up, but abnormally eerie when night falls. There was nothing much more than eating, shopping and letting the cycle repeat itself. There was rarely anything to do at Batam, but we surely did made use of every minute to enjoy ourself to the fullest. 

J's #manhuntsingapore competition has already gone into the pre-judging phrase and in less than a month, the final is going to take place. Earlier this month, the boys made their appearance at Fashion TV Beach Festival, and yesterday at Wavehouse for the pre-judging. A lot of  abs flaunting ;) J also made it to 8 Days's Shirtless Guy of The Week (August copy). He's contestant number 10, you can cast a vote for him here! 

Life is not always sailing smooth. I've learnt to enjoy cakes therapy whenever life gives me a lemon, and I've learnt it first at Fruit Paradise. I don't reject sweet stuff as much now, knowing how they really boost up my mood haha! So, if you ever feel low, head to Fruit Paradise for a slice of tart and a cup of tea (I strongly recommend Peach Nectar tea) and watch the magic work on you. // Lately, my appetite haven't been real good, I drink (tea/coffee) more than I eat. I've falling in love with Soup Spoon's Chilled Soba w/ Teriyaki Chicken salad, the sesame sauce is real yummy and the portion is just right.

Just within a day, Singapore's Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) has shoot to the highest reading of  371 at 1pm.  One glance outside my bedroom window shows nothing but haze, huge amount of haze that still carries along unpleasant thick smutty ashes smell. 

It's time to take precautions, it isn't really a good time to fall sick now.  One of the few thing to do before leaving your house is to get those shades and mask on.  It is best if you could get N95 haze protection safety mask from 3M, they have better coverage and protection from the haze.  But then again, ever since the haze broke out, the mask have been out of stock at plenty of places.  However, you could still get it through Qoo10 Singapore.

Nothing is more important than to continuously getting yourself hydrated.  I've started to double dose my intake of vitamin C everyday, making sure I consume sufficient fruits and vegetables as well.  This is a difficult period for everyone, a period filled with anger, frustrations and helplessness.  Well, the least we can do is to keep ourselves at a healthy level or else the fight against the haze is going to be a miserable process.  I now carry eye drop and nasal spray with me wherever I go because I have a really sensitive nose and these haze isn't making it any better.

Ultimately, my favourite set is still the Synthetic Ruby Heart set. I like Ruby, yes I do. I find that seductive shade of red the prettiest among all. This series name is called "Love Curve" (Rabukabu). And it comes with matching ring & earrings. Such a delight!

The appetizer was so delicious, despite it being really spicy (my weakness). When I took the first bite, I drank away 1/2 of the water in my bottle. Super right?! I really cannot take spicy but this is really nice! My soup base choice was - Tonkotsu Soup.
